Part 1
Monday past without incident we did our shopping, I got a new pare of goggles a few splash bombs then we went back to the room, lounged around all day, went swimming, had a great supper ( grandma’s cooking ), then went to bed.
Then on Tuesday our main goal for the day was to give our goggles a good tryout and boy did we ever. We got in the pool at about 12:00pm and swam till about 2:00pm. The pool was in direct line of the sun and being in the pool so were we. We burned bad, really, really, bad as in fried, worthy of being breakfast, all because we forgot our sunscreen on this particular trip. (Note for future trips no matter what bring sunscreen)
Part 2
The Big Burn Theory:
Theorem: Spend 2 hours in a pool that is in direct sunlight and you will get a sunburn
Test occurred: June 20, 2006 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm
Test results: It works if you spend 2 hours in a pool in direct sun light you will get sunburned.
